FAQ

How do you remove reviews outside Google?

You send the links, your account manager confirms the price and terms, and we file each item with the platform under its own rules. The platform decides.

Outside Google, the work starts with links, not a connected profile. You send the link to each review, post, comment or video in the chat, by email or by text. Your account manager confirms the price and the terms with you before anything is filed. We file every item you choose, and you pay for the ones that come down. A Google review goes through the TrustOS portal instead, as how we remove a Google review explains.

Google reviews are 91% of the 2,420 removals confirmed in our records, and Reddit is next at 3.5%, mostly posts (TrustReviews data, October 2026). The rest are Trustpilot reviews, Indeed employer reviews and answers on a company’s Q&A page, Facebook posts (several of them in Facebook groups) and YouTube videos.

Before work starts, we take a screenshot of each item as the record of what was there. Reddit, Yelp, Indeed, Glassdoor and TripAdvisor block our automatic screenshot tool, so a person on our team takes those screenshots by hand. Our filing team then files each item with the platform under that platform’s own policy, for example Trustpilot’s Guidelines for Businesses or Meta’s Community Standards for Facebook. The platform reviews the report and makes the decision. No one can guarantee every item comes down, because the platform makes the final decision on each one.

A person checks every removal before we count it. A report from our filing team is not a result: someone opens the link and confirms the item is gone. On Reddit this check matters, because a post can come down while its title or the comments under it stay visible. When an item comes down, we email you the item and its screenshot from before the work. If the platform restores it later, we file it again at no charge and never bill twice for the same item (can removed content come back?).

We do not hack accounts, use fake accounts, mass flag, contact the poster or ask a platform who they are (will you contact the reviewer?). Platforms penalise misuse of their report tools (is review removal legal), and content removed by methods that break a platform’s rules can be reinstated later.

Can’t I remove reviews myself?

You can report a review, but you cannot delete it. The platform decides on each report. A team saves you the filing and follow-up when you have many.

Can’t I remove reviews myself?
Can you remove a review I already reported?

Yes. You can still choose a review you reported or appealed yourself. Google gives each review one appeal, so tell us what Google decided before we file.

Can you remove a review I already reported?
Can I remove a review I already replied to?

Yes. A reply does not stop a removal. Google posts your reply under the review, so when Google removes the review, your reply comes off with it.
