Does Reddit tell the poster who reported them?
No. Reddit does not show the poster or the moderators who reported a post. If Reddit removes it, the poster is told the reason and how to appeal.

No. Reddit does not tell the poster who reported a post or comment, and the subreddit’s moderators cannot see the reporter either. Reddit’s list of what mods can’t do includes knowing “who reported things in your community”. Its Moderation Queue page says reports stay anonymous even when a moderator snoozes one user’s reports.
The poster is told that the post came down and why. Reddit’s Content Moderation, Enforcement, and Appeals page says that when Reddit removes content for breaking the Reddit Rules, the account that posted it gets the removal reason and instructions to appeal. The poster has six months to appeal. Depending on the rule and the account’s history, Reddit can also warn the poster or ban the account for 3 days, 7 days or permanently. The notice names the rule, not the reporter, but a poster who wrote about one business can still guess who objected.
Moderators see the removal, but not who asked for it. A moderator who removes a post under the community’s own rules can send the poster a removal reason by mod mail or as a comment on the post. When Reddit admins remove a post, the community’s moderation log shows the removal and the sitewide rule cited, except for removals under Rules 3 and 4, video content and copyright.
Legal notices work differently, and the poster learns more. A copyright or trademark takedown notice is filed by the rights owner or their authorized representative. Reddit’s Copyright overview and Trademark overview say Reddit tells the poster it received a takedown notice and removed the content. When Reddit blocks a post in one country because it appears to break local law, the poster gets an inbox notice, and Reddit posts the order’s details to the Lumen Database (Why is content being restricted in my country?). These are routes for a rights owner or a lawyer, not part of our filing.
Nobody at TrustReviews contacts the poster or asks Reddit who they are. Such a request would reach the poster anyway: Reddit’s legal requests overview says it tells users about requests for their account information and sends a copy, except where the law prohibits it or in limited emergencies. Our filing team files the posts and comments you choose with Reddit under the Reddit Rules. Reddit decides each one, and you pay for the ones that come down. Which Reddit rules apply to a post about a business covers the grounds, and why we never contact the person who posted covers the rest.
